Aphrodite seated left, holding phiale in her right hand; to left, Nike flying right, crowning her; below throne, mouse left; to right, countermark: bull walking right, shield above, all within rectangular incuse. Rev. NAΓIΔΕΩ[N] Dionysos standing front, head to left, holding grape bunch on vine in his right hand and thyrsos in his left; to upper left, 𐤆; to lower left, Δ (?); to upper left, countermark: eagle standing right and upward trident, all within rectangular incuse. Casabonne type 3. SNG Levante -. SNG Paris -. Traité II 1514. Struck from a somewhat worn obverse die and with some flatness and edge cracks from countermarking, otherwise, very fine.
